Amidst the investigation into alleged irregularities in flood control projects, actor Barron Geisler shared his own experience with an alleged corrupt contractor in Cebu who is said to be connected to a prominent politician.
In a Facebook post on August 25, Geisler said that the contractor had not completed their project for more than two years, despite the total payment they have made.
Geisler added that they have sent a demand letter more than 3 times, but the actor has blocked it on FB, and it seems that the money they paid was possibly used in the campaign but the politician lost.
Geisler did not name the contractor or the politician, but left names in the comments section of his post that may be related to his complaint.
The actor’s statement came amid reports of subpoenas for contractors who failed to appear in the Senate investigation into anomalies in the flood control fund, according to Senate President Chiz Escudero.
