Further highlighting the nation’s appeal, Cebu City is nominated as the “Most Desirable Region,” and Palawan as the “Most Desirable Island” globally.
Beyond the main category, the Philippines also stands to win in specific subcategories under “Most Desirable Country,” including Culture and Heritage, Nature and Wildlife, Adventure, Gastronomy, and Sustainability.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco expressed delight over these nominations, emphasizing their potential to significantly boost the country’s growth as a premier travel destination.
She is encouraging the public to show their support by casting their votes directly on the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards website.
