As part of its 68th anniversary, the Social Security System (SSS) proudly launched two major programs that are sure to benefit members and pensioners.

These programs, called MySSS Card and Alagang SSS Program, are in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to further strengthen and expand the social protection provided to Filipinos.

The launching ceremony was led by Finance Undersecretary Rolando Tungpalan, who expressed the government’s support for the SSS, and SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph De Claro, who also detailed the benefits of the new programs.

The MySSS Card is expected to replace the current UMID card. More than just a simple identification card, it will serve as a functional ID that also has a bank account feature.

It aims to provide easier and faster access to the various benefits and loan programs offered by the SSS, and through the MySSS Card, obtaining pensions, various benefits, and loans will be faster and more convenient for members.
