Filipina billiard star Rubilen Amit backs out of tournament in Saudi

Two-time world champion and Cebuana billiards star Rubilen Amit has withdrawn from the 2025 World Pool Championships to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

She confirmed this on her social media that she will not be participating, which was supposed to start on July 21.

She said that she has health problems so she decided to not participate anymore.

She also admitted that the decision was difficult for her but she only followed the advice of her doctor so she withdrew from the competition.

It is more important for her to value her health so that she can participate in more matches in the future.

The only participants in the tournament are Johann Chua, Carlo Biado, Patric Gonzales, AJ Manas, Jefrey Roda, Bernie Regalario, and James Aranas.
