Experiencing widespread distress, residents—especially in the mountainous barangays—are filled with worry after being severely battered by Typhoon Tino yesterday, November 4th.

In upland barangays such as Binaliw, Agsungot, Lusaran, Sirao, Busay, and Guba, people and motorists continue to face difficulties as the roads remain blocked by thick mudslides, large branches, and tree trunks due to extensive landslides.

In Barangay Lusaran, their distinctive multi-colored “bridge” is severely damaged, with a large section broken off due to the strong rush of water following the heavy, non-stop rain that began before dawn on November 4th.

Meanwhile, in Barangay Sirao, a mountainous area of Cebu City, the access road near Sirao Garden collapsed. Significant damage was also reported in Barangays Malubog and Busay, indicating the broad extent of Typhoon Tino’s ferocity.

Furthermore, just last night, Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival shared that his city urgently requires substantial assistance due to the immense damage it has sustained.
