At least 67 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli military attack.
The incident occurred while the victims were lining up to get food due to extreme hunger.
According to the United Nations World Food Programme, they had a convoy of 25 trucks and when they arrived in Gaza, they were mobbed by people.
However, the chaos only broke out after the truck they were travelling in passed a checkpoint manned by the Israeli Military.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also did not hesitate and defended themselves by saying that they were only firing warning shots to eliminate any threat.
Therefore, the Israel Defense Forces denied that they directly shot at the Palestinians, who were lining up to get food.
Following this, the UN had previously warned that the death toll due to extreme hunger in Gaza was increasing.
