The two Low Pressure Areas (LPAs) within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) are likely to intensify into full-fledged typhoons in the next 24 hours, according to the State Weather Bureau.

Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon will continue to prevail, bringing cloudy skies and rains to many parts of the country.

These include Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Occidental Mindoro, which will experience heavy rains that may cause flooding and landslides.

While Benguet, Tarlac, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro will experience intermittent rains.

Cagayan Valley and the Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and some parts of Mindanao will also experience scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The weather bureau reminds people to be careful of possible flooding and landslides, especially during strong thunderstorms.
