Floodwaters flowing from Mendenhall Glacier, Alaska, considered a threat to residents

Some residents in some areas of Juneau are preparing to evacuate due to the threat of flooding as rainwater and snowmelt from a dam on the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska have begun to flow towards the capital city.

In this regard, officials in the area have warned people in advance so that they are prepared to evacuate. Where, yesterday, Tuesday, it was confirmed that water has begun to overflow the ice dam, and it is expected that flooding will begin today.
