Nailhan na ang 11 sa 19 ka mga namatay sa nahitabong engkwentro tali sa 79th Infantry Battalion sa Philippine Army sa didto sa Brgy. Salamanca, Toboso, Negros Occidental.

Kahinomdoman nga gikompirmar ni VISCOM Army Information Officer Lieutenant Colonel Israel Galorio, nga adunay 19 ka mga New People’s Army (NPA) ang nakalas subay sa nahitabong engkwentro, diin lakip sa mga nailhan na nila mao ang top leader sa maong grupo nga si Roger Fabillar alyas Jong, kinsa nailing notorious NPA leader sa Northern Negros Front.

Matod niya, si Alyas Jong aduna nay ubay-ubay nga record diin mao ang responsable sa pagpatay daghang sibilyan sa Escalante ug Toboso, Negros Occidental.

• Vice Squad Leader, Northern Negros Front (NNF)
  alias “Kumader Pikot,” 58 years old, married, and a resident of Sitio – Huwebisan, Barangay Marcelo, Calatrava, Negros Occidental;

1. Alejandro Montoya

• alias “Kier Junjun,” 33 years old, and a resident of Barangay Gawahon, Victorias City, Negros Occidental

1. Ruel Sabillo

• 19 years old, and a resident of Sitio Singiton, Barangay Tabun-ak, Toboso, Negros Occidental.

1. Sonny Boy Caramihan Manayon

• 28 years old single and a resident of Sitio Batbataw, Barangay Bagonbon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental;

1. R.J. Nichole Ledesma y Lacson

• 30 years old and a resident of Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City;

1. Arnel Javoc y Mahilum

• 32 years old, single and a resident of Sitio Labay-ao, Barangay Lalong, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
