The joy of the top 1 in the October 2025 Electronics Technicians Licensure Exam, who came from the Cebu Institute of Technology – University with 92.00%, is heaven-high.
“I didn’t expect it,” was the statement of Ace Bryle Ilustrisimo, who was indeed the one who led the Electronics Technicians Examination, because, according to him, he hadn’t tested his capabilities yet since he hadn’t undergone a pre-board examination.
During the interview with the Bombo Radyo Cebu team with Bryle, he recounted that if only he knew and prepared for the first time, even if only for two weeks, but he didn’t, which is why he truly didn’t expect to be included at the top.
Bryle added that he was very happy about the news regarding his success, especially because, for him, his success would not only be for himself but also include his family, as well as the people who supported his achievement, where his mother is also one of them. Bryle also mentioned his inspiration, which is his family, because he wants to repay them, since the support he has received from them has been ceaseless from his childhood up to the present.
He further added that even though the status of his family is not that abundant with privilege, it is already a privilege and favor for him that they are the family he recognizes and grew up with. Bryle also revealed that he didn’t go through a space full of temptation because, when he graduated, he promised himself that he would dedicate his utmost focus because he would rather suffer for a few months, which would result in a lifetime achievement.
However, he didn’t deny that he also encountered a challenge on that journey, which was establishing his study habit.
