As the confirmation of charges hearing officially kicks off this Monday, February 23, former President Rodrigo Duterte will face temporary isolation from physical family visits.
While the International Criminal Court (ICC) has implemented a “no-visit” rule for the duration of these proceedings, the family remains connected through other means.
The former president’s legal team, consisting of six lawyers, is set to attend the confirmation of charges hearing starting tomorrow.
The legal team includes the following:

-Martin Delgra III
-Silvestre Bello III
-Alfredo Lim Jr.
-Caesar Dulay
-Salvador Panelo
Additionally, the court has currently barred physical family visits for the duration of the hearing. The Duterte family clarified that they haven’t been cut off entirely, as they are still permitted to communicate with him via telephone.
